Brookfields School Youth Club
The students in the secondary school were very excited yesterday evening as it was the first night of the new Brookfields Youth Club! The club is open every Thursday evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm for pupils at the school who are Y9 and above irrespective of their needs. Our plan is to make it an inclusive club with Peer Educators from local secondary schools becoming involved.
There are some great activities already planned but the young people themselves will be deciding what they want to do.
We have been able to set up the club as a result of the successful to Aiming High and with the input and support from Cath Kidd and her team from Reading Youth Services.
