Welcome to our Youth Club update!

Its amazing how time has flown and to think about how much we have done since the launch back in February 2010.

The success of the club has to go to the young people who come. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve so much so a BIG THANK YOU to them. The smooth running of the Club has been down to regular staff members – Joan (Club Manager), Kerrie, Julie and Darren – and our fantastic volunteers Chris, Caroline, Olivia, Kerry and Atul for all their hard work and support.

The young people have been involved from the very first planning meeting held to set up the Club and have continued to play an active involvement in what happens on Thursday evenings. The activities they have arranged have ranged from trips out on boats, visits to local restaurants, theatres as well as bowling. They have invited guests speakers in to lead workshops on music, DJ’ing and cooking (thanks Pam and Rhona)

We return to Youth club on Thursday 13^th January 2011

We will be organising trips to Rivermead Leisure Centre for swimming sessions in January. We also hope to be able to book the climbing wall at The Adventure Dolphin centre
