Our Tribute to our colleague Linner Sang

It is with the great sadness that we are sharing a tribute today to our colleague Linner Sang who sadly lost her life recently.
This is something that we never expected to have to do. However, we are also grateful that Linner chose to work with us at our school and with our wonderful pupils.
Linner was a very unassuming but dedicated professional. She had aspirations for her future but was happy to be able to enhance the experience of our pupils while here.
Linner was always professional in her attitude to work and her attitude to others, but she had always had time to play and laugh with the students.
When staff have shared their memories of Linner, they have always highlighted how joyful, happy and encouraging she was to both her colleagues and the students she worked with.
She always had an infectious smile and a positive attitude and took time for others.
Staff recall Linner playing rounders in football in her socks and dancing with students bringing colour and music into the classroom. Linner shared her passion for Arsenal with students despite the ardent Manchester United and Liverpool fans at school!
Linner often talked with pride about her family and her girls. She was so proud of them and aspirational for them and what they could achieve. She missed them dearly.
As a school community we send our heartfelt sympathies to Linner’s family and her closest friends. It was a privilege to have known her and to have her work in our setting for the years that she was with us - she won’t be forgotten.
