Parents/Carers
Working in partnership with Parents and Carers is central to how we operate at Brookfields. If you have a question or concern, no matter how small, we would love to hear from you. (See contact us section for more details).
It is really important to us that you feel part of your child’s learning journey. To support this we regularly host opportunities for parents and carers to visit the school.
Events include:
- Parent/Carer progress evenings and the opportunity to meet staff teams and learn about how your child is getting on.
- Annual reviews – a yearly statutory meeting to review your child’s Education Health and Care Plan
- ‘Come and create’, ’stay and play’ and ‘Real PE’ events held in school with families and their children to understand how we teach your child at Brookfields and how you can support learning at home
- Special events, including: Sports Day, Special assemblies, performances
In addition to visits, we use Earwig our online evidence and assessment platform. Each parent or carer gets a secure login and a wonderful, free, ever-growing record of their child’s school life.
